In 2026, I created The Neurodivergent Owl book series to tell my story of growing up as a neurodivergent individual through a variety of life challenges such as educational challenges (school safety drills, assemblies and field trips), employment challenges (being flexible and open minded, finding the fit not forcing the fit and overall everyday life (going to the doctors office, social gatherings, etc.).

These book are not just a personal story, but also can serve as a guide for today's generation of neurodivergent families to navigate the challenges that come with neurodiversity.

Volume #1: Assemblies, Alarms and Accommodations: Inside the Neurodivergent Classroom

"When it comes to school safety drills and activities, it is never one size fits all. Take things one step at a time to better support neurodivergent students on their level."

True inclusion is about understanding, preparation, and creating spaces where every learner can thrive.

In Volume 1, I talk about some of the challenges I faced when it came to being in an educational setting such as dealing with school assemblies, school safety drills and getting accommodations that helped me become the first neurodivergent student to have been fully educated in the Seekonk Public School system.
