If you are in the autism/neurodiversity community, whether you are an individual on the spectrum, a family member or someone that works with neurodiverse individuals, remember that we all have a story to tell about respective journeys of growing up neurodiverse.
But when we talk about our respective journeys, many of us tend to focus on the negative side of our journeys more than the actual positive sides that we are supposed to share with others who want to learn more about neurodiversity or who are also associated with neurodiversity.

“Autistics on Autism” is a compellation of stories by neurodiverse individuals who all had one thing in common: they all grew up neurodivergent and ended up becoming successful in life.
Every single individual in this book each has a success story to tell, such as graduating from high school or graduating from college and following their dreams and passions.
Reading this book, I could strongly connect with each and every one of the contributors because like them, I had challenges and overcame them ultimately leading up to getting my own apartment and eventually founding “Going the Distance.”
Some of these journeys can teach not just neurodiverse but also neurotypical individuals the importance of never giving up in the face of adversity.
There are plenty of individuals in the autism/neurodiversity community who give up too easily when there is something standing in their way, and they end up missing out on what life is like for them if they don’t give up.
Sure, we may not get everything we want in life, but at least we can take that next step to getting something we want.

Like everyone in the autism/neurodiversity community, Dr. Magro had adversity and overcame it to the point of becoming a nationally recognized public speaker.
If you are a family or an individual who is affected in some way by autism or any type of neurodiversity/disability, then I recommend reading this book to get some inspiration to being successful in some way in life.
