Recently as all 32 NFL teams began their training camp ahead of the 2023-2024 NFL Season, there was a situation of words that came out from Denver Broncos Head Coach Sean Payton about the previous head coach, Nathaniel Hackett, who was fired towards the end of last season. In fact, he also had choice words for other members of the Denver Broncos organization, including their general manager George Paton.
Of course, New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers came to the defense of Hackett (who was his offensive coordinator with the Green Bay Packers) and warned Payton to keep his coach’s name out of his mouth.

Now, you might be wondering why I would be talking about this? Well, there are things that a lot of people struggle with and that includes watching what they say around others. Of course, some people are very sensitive and defensive around certain people and properties.
Take it from me, I sometimes struggle with watching what I say because I sometimes say things out of compulsion which is frequently common among neurodivergents. Unfortunately, the things we say out of compulsion in either a professional, educational or social environment can have consequences ranging from a verbal choice of words from the receiving party to being blocked from others on social media.
…
It also comes down to the fact of respecting the boundaries of others (which is also something I sometimes act out of compulsion). Being that the National Football League is a business, what Sean Payton said was something that crossed the boundaries of another person like Nathaniel Hackett. Now, I get the fact that Nathaniel Hackett wasn’t the best head coach, but he is a human being and when we say something negative about others in a public forum, there are ramifications.
It doesn’t matter if you are rich and famous, poor and forgotten, neurodivergent or neurotypical, we all have to be mindful of our actions and words because they will come back to bite at you. For Sean Payton, it might result in another losing season for the Denver Broncos, who knows? We shall wait and see.

Catch you all later!!
